How We Can Help
Child Profile Review & Pre-Adoptive Mentoring
Our comprehensive child profile reviews highlight the strengths and needs of each child, ensuring that prospective parents understand the needs of the children they are considering when information may be limited or misleading.
Ongoing Family Mentoring
Our mentor empowers families whose children are struggling with mental health/behavioral needs. Using a holistic approach, our mentors combine their personal experience and professional training to equip families with practical techniques to navigate challenges at home, school, and in the community.
Our Approach
With You, Where You Are
We understand the challenges faced by foster and adoptive families, particularly when it comes to understanding the needs of children from hard places. Through TBRI training and ongoing mentorship, we guide you in creating an environment that prioritizes trust and connection. By collaborating closely, we can identify specific areas where your family needs support and develop practical approaches to address these issues.
This journey may feel overwhelming at times, but with the right tools and mindset, it can also be a deeply rewarding experience that strengthens your family bond. Our commitment is to stand alongside you, transforming your challenges into opportunities for growth and resilience.
Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®)
TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.
